European Computer Driving
Licence
The
European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) is a European-wide standard for
computer users. It certifies that the holder has reached a recognised
level of proficiency in the use of the most widely used computer software.
The ECDL valued by the
holder because it recognises the computer skills they already have, and
provides an incentive for them to learn more.
The employer values the
ECDL because it provides a method to track the organisation’s skill
levels.
Bua Training can provide
the training and exam facilities to award candidates with ECDL
certificates. Bua will also provide the necessary administrative support
for overseeing the training and examination process.
ECDL training is comprised
of seven modules, generally requiring seven
days training. The seven modules can
be taken in any order as long as they are completed within three years.
