When does my course start?

For our public course, registration is normally at 9.15am, and training courses run from 9.30 until 5pm. This may vary, particularly for private courses, so we send automatic emails to confirm exact times for each trainee.

If you have not received a confirmation email, it may have been sent to the person who booked the training course for your organisation, so please check with them. Also it is a good idea to check your junk email folder.

How do the automatic confirmation emails work?

When we make a booking, our system is programmed to automatically send a confirmation, within about 30 minutes. This email contains all the joining instructions for the training course. A second email, with the same details, is sent as a reminder a couple of days before the course.

By default, this email is sent to the trainee, with the organiser's email address in the CC line, but you can change it to be sent only to the trainee, or only to the organiser, as you wish, just get in touch.

I am not receiving some or all of my confirmation emails, what's wrong?

Most likely there is a problem with the junk mail filters on your mail server. You should bring this to the attention of your IT department and ask them to add all emails in the buatraining.com domain to their white list, which will avoid this problem.

I am looking for dates and prices of public courses. Where can I find this information?

You can find our current schedule of all courses and prices here. This page is linked live to our booking system, so the information (including places available) is automatically updated.

How do I know that the course is the right level for me?

We are happy to help. We ask all trainees to complete a pre-course questionnaire so we can advise you what course will suit you best, and so the tutor can prepare to make the course relevant to your needs. Click here for our questionnaires.

Where are you located and how do I get there?

Our training centre is located at Brooks Hotel, 62 Drury Street, Dublin 2. See here for a map and directions

Is there parking available?

The Drury Street, St Stephen's Green and Brown Thomas multi-storey car parks are all very close by. We don't advise parking on the street, because it isn't possible to park there for the day. We advise taking public transport as our training centre is very close to the Dart, Luas and all major bus routes.

What do I need to bring?

Our training centre is fully equipped, and we supply all training materials, so you just need to bring yourself, and any files you would like to show the trainer, on a disk, CD or memory stick.

What is included in the cost of the course?

The course includes all course materials, course customisation (if required) and 12 months post-course support. Lunch and light refreshments are supplied when you use our training centre.

Are there any limitations on the post course support?

People who complete our training courses are entitled to 12 months post-course support - if you have a question about anything covered in your training course. You can find the terms and conditions on our post course support here.

Can I see a record of all the training that I have done with Bua?

Training managers and HR departments can log in and check upcoming bookings, historical training records, course outcomes and financial statements. The information is updated live. Log in here or, if you don't have a login, get in touch and we'll set you up.

How can Bua Consultancy help my company?

Bua's consultancy service develops Microsoft Access and Excel systems, and Microsoft Word templates. Our consultancy service has helped many companies automate their sales, purchasing and wages systems. Does Bua create software for companies?

Bua Software specialises in developing and customising software that will make your business run more smoothly. We produce customised databases, templates and macros, and we create industry-specific applications that integrate smoothly with your office software. Can I make a provisional booking?

We don't accept provisional bookings, but our booking terms are very generous, and if you book a course and discover that you are not able to attend, you can cancel with no penalty, usually up to three working days before the course. What is your invoicing procedure?

Our system is normally programmed to send invoices on the Friday of the week of the course, but we reserve the right to send invoices at other times. If a different invoicing procedure suits you better, please get in touch.

Our invoices are normally emailed to your nominated invoice email address in PDF format, which is a secure format which can be read by almost any computer. You are welcome to print the invoice if you wish.

Can you provide training elsewhere in Ireland?

Yes, we can provide training in your training rooms, or at a suitable location such as a conference room or hotel suite anywhere in Ireland. We can supply and set up computers if necessary. Please contact us for pricing and other details.
