Selecting learning content - how to conduct a Training Needs Analysis

 

Applying the Systematic Training Cycle to training

 

Understanding the learning cycle and adult learning

 

Communication skills for delivering training

 

Structuring a training programme:

Establishing learning objectives

Creating progress tests and lesson plans based on the learning objectives of the participants

Identifying and incorporating learning priorities into the lesson plan

Designing a training programme

 

Day2:

 

Identifying the learning preferences and styles of the participants and how to adjust your training style to meet the needs of the participants

 

Developing and demonstrating various learning methods to assist in the transfer of knowledge to the participants

 

Creating rapport and managing difficult participants

 

Providing constructive feedback to participants

 

Designing support documentation and user guides

 

Examination of the various types of evaluation - when and how to use them effectively

 

Supporting and motivating participants during and after the training programme

 

Preparing and presenting a training session

 

Development plan - create a development plan of key learning points to use in the workplace
